Amazing lighting!

aggimajera responds:

That was the focus this time. Lighting of clothes and facial features in a dark environment. Plus, you know, kids. Hope it carries over for the next one!

The cover looks great! All 5 factions on the front, and a short summary on the back, just like a real cover! The book look really interesting! I think I'll buy it!
I've already read The Hunger Games, Lord of The Flies, and I'm reading Stephen King's The Stand right now, but I think Divergent will stand out!

NyanaCreation responds:

i'm so happy to hear that ^_^ and yes i had to design a new cover so i should do a good
job than right? but i'm happy i could bring you on the idea to read this book. (i hope you
enjoy it, i sertenly did)

Looks great! Great lore!
You've obviously spent a lot of time coming up with the dragon lance, and it's operation!
Had quite a few design ideas, I reckon.

Great picture! Though I have to wonder: The pendants; the capital Y with an added line is a rune from the elder futhark, usually translated to "z", and meaning, possibly, "elk". What's it's signifigance here?

Happy New Year by the way, man!
Catch you later!

AWESOME!! That fist is truly a sight to behold!
Reminds me of Tekken's Heihachi, with the spectacular facial hair and similar shirt.
Which is not a bad thing! Merry X-mas, by the way!

Fantastic! Great potential!
I know next to nothing about Zbrush, so I've got some questions for you:
1)
Is it possible to put the model in different positions once it's created?

2)
Can you apply said model to a picture or video program (ex. Photoshop or BoomToon)to create awesome pictures/video?

Regards,
JamesHatfeld

themefinland responds:

Thanks James, as for the questions:
1. Yup, you can repose the model, but that means you have to either manually move each limb (time consuming) or to rig the model (even more time consuming). I sculpted this guy into the default T pose and posed him like this afterwards. However, the way this character is sculpted makes it quite difficult to pose as I did not take some key things into consideration when doing this, but I will take those things into account on my future sculpts so I can rig them.

2. Yeah, you can export the model as a regular image or video file which you can then send to another program to do whatever you want to do with it.

Strong read. True words.
Makes me think about Verdun. The walls of the Allied trenches contained more bodies than dirt in some places. The bodies of those fallen in no-man's land were unable to be retrieved, and slowly turned into a pulp by artillery fire, shrapnel, stray bullets, and decomposition.
Standing weeks at a time shin-high in festering water, contaminated by urine, feces, blood and death.

Remembrance. Never forget to remember. I urge you to listen to Disposable Heroes, a song of one of my favorite bands, Metallica, with the lyrics. Catch you later.

Excellent story, and excellent picture! You pulled off the lighting very well! The forest and sky above look very tantalizing! I read the full story, and it actually brought my mind to one of your earlier works:

any connection/inspiration?
Will there be more of our young dragonoid hero?

themefinland responds:

Why yes, the drawing you linked is very much connected to this story :) There will be more of him in the future!

Fantastic work on everything! The sky, the details, the palette, all good! Great read as well!

Splendid! Shading, lighting, textures (suit, pants), coloring, details (muscles, hair), and mood (manical!) are all well above what I've seen from you lately (excluding "Reunion, of course). You have indeed gotten better!
I remember you once said something along the lines of "the Spanish Civil War have but all been forgotten, pushed onto the sideline by the larger scale conflicts at the time", and that you wanted to focus your attention on it someday. It's good that you've decided to "revive" the Civil Wat project! Can we expect more scenes of Pedro and Gregori in the future?

aggimajera responds:

As a matter of fact I've been re-evaluating the entire backgrounds and stories of characters I've made. I've been trying to lay good groundwork for a series of solid stories forming a coherent, sensible overarching story spanning the entire 20th century. As it stands, Pedro and Gregori were both the protagonist and main antagonist of "The Overseer". This is the beginning of how they met, and how a Spaniard found himself in the Eastern Bloc.

I care about the characters I made. I want to present them to a wide audience someday. In order to do that, im working out kinks in their stories. Expect more pictures of these kind. Including Pedro and Gregori.

Greetings! I'm a huge fan of Fallout and Elder Scrolls, cosplay those. Love art in all forms. I love reading fiction and nonfiction. I write TES fanfic. Favorite bands: MetallicA and Iron Maiden. Thank you for visiting my profile! Have a great day onward!
