Majestic and creepy at the same time. You did a great job on the feathers!

Rhunyc responds:

Ah thank you sir! I appreciate that!

Haha, sh!t man! They look so cool! Thanks for ruining my childhood! :)

HongKongBong responds:

Ruining childhoods one step at a time ;)

Really, really awesome! Great job on this! Deadpool is looking particularly sinister here, although maybe a bit too buffed - that triceps almost look like a tumor ;)

What a glorious example of a werecrocodile! (joke)
Great picture, though. I really like the background. The infernal flame-reptile looks splendid; angry and menacing. Great work!

themefinland responds:

Cheers James! Funnily enough though, the werecrocodiles from elder scrolls was the inspiration behind this, so you aren't too far off, haha!

Astounding! Where to start? I didn't even know you could paint properly on a surface like that
(I've never tried), but the result is really quite excellent!
I may have an idea as to why you feel it's unfinished, more on that later, but the motif itself looks both polished, detailed, vibrant and warm to me. The surrounding leaves are splendid as well.
Made me think of Autumn Leaves, a french song covered by countless artists, but the best versions (in my opinion) is sung by Nat King Cole and Edith Piaf. I strongly urge you to check them out on YouTube :)

But I digress. I guess the creator of the art will always set the bar on their own work a little higher than usual, and feel they see minor flaws here and there, places that need a touch-up, and so on.

If I were to criticize, it would be in regards to only a single issue:
One an clearly see her right leg, but no front leg is to be seen, despite we can still see the branch trough the dress. With a dress of that transparency, perhaps we should be able to make out the left leg? Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

In any case, the wood you've used is birch, right?
Newgrounds could really use more art on physical art, instead of just digital!
Do you have any art plans for the future?

Regards,
EAJ

Woah! It's so cool! What gave you the idea to see this through? Had many (re)tries?
Have you ever considered a career in surgery? You've got the hands for it, it seems. ;)

HongKongBong responds:

Thanks man! I found some interesting pictures online of people carving some amazing stuff out of pencils. This was my second attempt!
I don't think carving wizards into intestines is what they're looking for in the medical business though, haha!

Flawless! The attention to detail is phenomenal! Great shadowing of the main Bond motif as well! Where didn't you use watercolors?

Funny and cruel at the same time! I like it! I've heard the name Vorkuta before, when I played Call of Duty: Black Ops, but I actually thought it was fictional until recently. In my defense, I was only 16 back then, and unlike my knowledge of the Nazi camps, my knowledge of the Soviet camps was minimal.

Of Wolf and Man! Or should we say Beast, seeing as Argonians are a beast-race? Anyway, all of the picture looks great: The reflection on the rocks, the shaggy fur, the frost-breath of the werewolf, the delicate connecting strands of spit in its mouth, and of course, Hircine's Blood Moon. I remember doing a certain quest in Skyrim, and in the climax you had to choose whether to spare or kill an unfortunate werewolf fellow who had killed a little girl. He fled to a cave, and Hircine called started The Hunt, and the cave basked in blood-red light from the crimson moon above.

I would've played ESO if my desktop could handle it, just for the sake of the atmosphere and lore. Argonians in the game look so darn awesome, and the game is just getting bigger and bigger, with the expansion packs and all. Later there will be Murkmire, a new location within Black Marsh, with the infamous Nagas!

Though I'm not much of a MMORPG player (I prefer FPS, RTS, Post-Apocalyptic, Bethesda, or any mix of them), I may give ESO a go when I get around to upgrading my hardware. I'd really like to hear *your* opinion of the game, I you would care to share it.
My regards.

He still looks awesome! No complaints. How did you make the bottlecap? Paper/cardboard disc and paint, or what? Would love to see more Fallout from you. A BoS or Enclave soldier, perhaps?

HongKongBong responds:

Yep, exactly that! Just printed the Nuka Cola logo on a piece of paper and used red paint to blend it into the red bottle cap.
I think I'd rather do a Deathclaw or a Raider next, not so good at sculpting shiny armor.

Greetings! I'm a huge fan of Fallout and Elder Scrolls, cosplay those. Love art in all forms. I love reading fiction and nonfiction. I write TES fanfic. Favorite bands: MetallicA and Iron Maiden. Thank you for visiting my profile! Have a great day onward!
