It looks great, man! It's downright amazing how simply alternating the pressure on the pen can create a drawing of this magnitude. This is not simply a sketch; this is ART! Nice job!

"Numbness will subside in several minutes."

Saminat responds:

Hahah, glad you like it, but it really didn't take long to draw it, really short notice. I drew a couple others during the summer, I guess I could upload them :)

Nice work! Is this form any franchise in particular, or is it just "generic sci-fi power armor"?

VerdRage responds:

Edge of Tomorrow. ;)

Nice work, man! You had all the basics covered in the first drawing, and you even included shadowing by using manual smudging! Not bad!
He looks *really* bad-ass! He actually reminds me a bit of Wernher from Fallout 3!
But maybe that's just me. Here's a pic: http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111222120948/fallout/images/3/3a/Wernher.jpg

aggimajera responds:

Yeah, I was 16 years old and strove for realism like hell. I still like some aspects about it, although the nose irritates the hell out of me >_<
And yeah, he does resemble him!

I know how workers at a nursery home can be. Luckily, I'm not surrounded by heartless miscreants like you are, albeit my colleagues think I talk to much with the "patients". But, I digress.
I can't wait for The Overseer: Slavyanka! Do you have an estimate on when it may be released?
By the way, what happened to Course Purity?

aggimajera responds:

That's MY problem! My boss has me on her blacklist because I talk too much too them! But like you likely do amigo, I keep speaking anyway. Most of the things they say are FAR more interesting than most of the things my co-workers say. Especially war veterans!
I'll be frank with you mate. I ditched Coarse Purity. I liked the cut out style at first for the first series I did, but it didn't feel like a step forward. Then I took my animation class and met someone who introduced me to toon boom pro. And it is such great software!
So I am teaming up with the toon boom buddy and we are making an animation that looks like these last three pictures. I have a skilled friend who can compose an original soundtrack, and best of all the story will be told in one animation that last about 5 minutes. No more series work! :D
We are going to keep busting our butts because we both want this to be the best work we've ever done that we can proudly show off to family, friends, and show at conventions. And it will take time. But rest assured man, its committed!

Love that look, man! The grass and sky both look a bit surreal, but none-the-less impressive.
Did you get the idea of the design yourself? That grass got potential, and I can imagine it shifting in a breeze, almost like a green flame. I wonder, is the rifle Ekatarina's holding the same rifle used by the main character in the 'Overseer' series, only redone in the matter of quality? I'm curious because it shares many similarities, albeit this rifle is substantially longer, and has proper iron sights.

aggimajera responds:

The grass just didn't look right the first time, so I tried something just a little different with it. If it was swaying in the breeze it sure would be nice to see, you are right.
This one is not the same rifle, although they would fire the same caliber of 7.62x54mm bullets. This one is a real life M91/30 Mosin Nagant Rifle (my favorite firearm :D).
The one he used in Overseer was some sort of carbine variant he customized himself. TBH however I was very very VERY inexperienced with my painting software back then, so I just made something that looks life a rifle.

Good stuff, man! This image shines of life and adrenaline. The facial expressions are great, with a nice variety of emotions: fear on the pistol-wielding guy and rock hard determination on the older fellow with the snub-nosed revolver. Just wondering, does the top guy of the trio on the right wield a PPSh-41 submachinegun?

aggimajera responds:

Glad you liked it.
And as a matter of fact it is! .... However one person on DeviantArt said it looked more like a sword :P

A valentines card.
Jokes aside, great work on coloring, man! Everything looks great. The light from the light bulb,
the grit on Ekatarina's (I assume) face and the drifting snow in the background are all superb.
I was unsure of your coloring talents seeing as you've never colored anything on NG,
but after the Winter Soldier and this, I can honestly say, hand down:
Good job! Just one question, if I may: why are your pictures so darn big?

aggimajera responds:

They're really big because of this wierd little knack that I developed drawing...
I drew a picture that was small once, and I could SEE the pixels in the art and it drove me crazy!! So believe it or not... this is actually a smaller version than what I draw on... 10,000 by 10,000 pixels. Then it looks smoother. No pixel to be seen! But I will make them smaller for newer pictures, definitely.
Thank you for the feedback. I was certainly unsure of coloring as well and thought I'd give it a go after the White Death. Glad you like the result!
And yes, that's Ekatarina. And do you recognize the man in the Ushanka?
If you watched my animation, you might recognize him as the fellow in the shootout. Ushanka and scar across nose!

It looks great, man! Not really anything to complain about. The emotions on the people's faces are terrific, and so is the shading and backgrounds. Will you colour them eventually? Looking forward to see more soon!

aggimajera responds:

Thanks buddy! Maybe I will color them at some point, but this is mainly practice on my drawing skills. And I'm glad your looking forward to seeing more.
But they're also a precursor to a new animation I'm doing.
So it's best you pay attention to what they say! :D

This is superb! The pale moonlight and the raging flames create a good combination when it comes to contrast. I know for a fact that foreshortening in any form isn't easy, but I'd say you pulled it off nicely! Just a quick question out of curiosity: is it a katana he has across his back? It looks like that to me.
Regards, JamesHatfeld

Rhunyc responds:

Thank you! It could be! I wasn't too concerned what type of sword it was, I just wanted it to be a fantasy setting, so I thought a sword would help show that. :>

Awww, a Hank Snow-angel! How sweet! Keep pouring out gold for us! :)

Rhunyc responds:

Haha, he got tired of dying.

And I'll try!

Greetings! I'm a huge fan of Fallout and Elder Scrolls, cosplay those. Love art in all forms. I love reading fiction and nonfiction. I write TES fanfic. Favorite bands: MetallicA and Iron Maiden. Thank you for visiting my profile! Have a great day onward!
